MIXED NUT SAUCE


INGREDIENTS:

4 oz mixed brazils, wallnuts, hazelnuts (or a mix of your own choice)
12 fl oz milk
½ chopped onion

METHOD:

1. Grind nuts or chop finely
2. put milk and onions in blender
3. add nuts
4. blend until smooth
5. pour mixture into a saucepan
6. cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, until it thickens

Serve hot over savoury pies, or rice
