ALMOND CUSTARD


INGREDIENTS:

2 oz almonds
3 eggs
12 fl oz milk
1 tble sp Honey
1 vanilla pod

METHOD:

pre-heat oven to gas mark 2

1. Grind almonds into a fine paste
2. beat nuts into milk
3. Whisk eggs
4. ad honey and milk to eggs
5. beat again
6. add vanilla pod
7. put in a 'bain mairie'
8. put in oven for 45 minutes (until set)

serve on it's own or with fruit pie
